OUR TEAM
The Spadra Ranch Land Development Team is comprised of thirteen interdisciplinary undergraduate civil engineering students, two faculty advisors, and one industry advisor.
LUCIA MENDEZ
Project Manager
Lucia Mendez is a senior undergraduate Civil Engineering student with an emphasis in Geospatial Engineering. Her engineering experience comes from school projects and engineering internships that primarily consists of land development and project planning. Through these positions she has fulfilled tasks related to drafting on AutoCAD, writing technical reports, and communicating to complete projects.

LUKE DE GIORGIO, LSIT
Project Manager
Luke Eugene De Giorgio is a senior undergraduate civil engineering student with an emphasis in geospatial engineering. He has worked for a private company as a land surveying technician and has plans to work towards becoming a Professional Engineer and Professional Land Surveyor in the future.

JOSUE ARANA, EIT
Design Lead
Josue Arana is a fourth-year undergraaduate civil engineering student with a general emphasis. He has had previous experience. He has had experience in land development working for CASC and Kinley-Horn and Associates. After graduation, Josue plans to join Kimley Horn in their Riverside Office as a Civil Engineer Analyst.
MARYN SANTIAGO
Design Lead
Maryn Santiago is a fourth-year undergraduate civil engineering student with a general emphasis. She has had previous experience working in both the public and private sector. After graduation, Maryn plans to join the Development Services Division at Kimley-Horn and Associates.

ANDRE CARRASCO
Design Lead
Andre Carrasco is a fourth-year undergraduate civil engineering student with an general emphasis. He has previous experience in both the geotechnical field and in land development. After graduation, Andre plans is join KWC Engineers as an engineering designer.

ANDREW BURROR
Design Engineer
Andrew Burror is a fourth-year undergraduate civil engineering student with an emphasis in environmental. He is currently working in the private sector for a land development firm. Post-graduation, Andrew plans to join KWC Engineers as an engineering designer.

CASSIDY YIM
Design Engineer
Cassidy Yim is a senior undergraduate General Civil Engineering student who's focusing on water. She is currently working in the public sector as an intern for the Water Resources Department for the City of Pomona. Projects she has worked on include Storwater QA/QC, Pavement Cuts, Drinking Fountain Park Projects, and construction for the new Water Resources Department building.

RICKY PATINO
Design Engineer
Ricardo Patino is a senior undergraduate Civil Engineering student with an emphasis in Geospatial Engineering. He has previous experience in private sector as both a civil engineer and land surveying technician. He has plans to obtain a double licensed as both a Professional Land Surveyor and Professional Engineer.

DIANNA HERNANDEZ
Design Engineer
Dianna Hernandez is a senior undergraduate Civil Engineering student with an emphasis in Geospatial Engineering. Her engineering experience comes from both school projects and working at a teacher's assistant for AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Dianna is also the Engineering Council Representative for the Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) Club. Currently, she is working at WestLAND Group as an intern but plans to continue working at WestLAND after graduation.

SHENG TAN
Design Engineer
Sheng Tan is a fourth-year undergraduate civil engineering student with a geospatial emphasis and a mathematics minor. He has worked as a research assistant under the guidance of Dr. Omar E. Mora and Dr. Wen Cheng and has plans to work towards becoming a Geomatics Professor in the future. After graduation, Sheng plans to continue his education for a Ph.D. degree at Purdue University in the field of Geomatics.

JEFFREY GARCIA
Project Engineer
Jeffrey Garcia is a 4th-year undergraduate Civil Engineering with a general emphasis. He has had previous experience in the private construction industry working on projects in Disneyland and Orange County. He plans to join Clark Construction as an Engineer upon graduation.

GABRIEL RANGEL
Project Engineer
Gabriel Rangel is a fourth-year undergraduate Civil Engineering student with a general emphasis. He has had previous experience in construction as a Project Engineer intern for Sofi Stadium, and a Field Engineer Intern for the San Fernando Ground Water Remediation Project. After graduation, Gabriel plans to join the engineering department as an Engineer 1 at Kiewit.

YIMIAO WANG
Project Engineer
Yimiao Wang is a senior undergraduate Civil Engineering student with an emphasis in Geospatial Engineering along with a minor in Geological Science. She has worked in the private sector as a land surveying technician. Yimiao plans to become a Professional Land Surveyor in the future.
