TRAFFIC STUDY
The existing condition of the project site has some traffic issues. The T intersection with Valley Blvd and Pomona Blvd has an existing abandoned train track. Per the year 2020 data, Valley Blvd has an Annual Average Daily Traffic (AADT) of 82,000 with a peak Monthly Average Daily Traffic (MADT) of 5,600. Pomona Blvd has an AADT of 79,000 with a peak MADT of 5,400. The abandoned train track was located close to the initial resident’s entrance of the proposed project. It has to be moved more to the East to ensure a smoother and safer traffic flow of the intersection.
